Easy Sudoku 16x16 Printable Krazydad: A Guide to Solving Frame Clues

The puzzles are provided in 1-per-page format, with each collection containing eight sudoku puzzles, a page of hints, and a page of answers at the back. The solving techniques used are the same as those for the traditional 9x9 sudoku.

One of the most interesting properties of these frame puzzles is that the number of givens can be significantly smaller than regular sudokus. In some cases, there may even be no givens at all! For example, if a row contains the numbers 629345 178, the left clue would say 17, which is the sum of 6+2+9, and the right clue would say 16, which is the sum of 1+7+8. These extra clues, located on the outside of the main grid, indicate the sum of the outer three squares in the row or column adjacent to the clue.

To solve these puzzles, you can use various techniques such as inclusion, exclusion, pairs exclusive, and multiple choice. You may also need to make one hypothesis by multiple choice. By 'hypothesis,' we mean a supposition about the solution of a square in the absence of any logical reasoning.
